The successful candidate will lead and supervise the Casting, X-Ray, and Heat Treatment teams, to achieve the Foundrys Goals.

KPI's

Ensure that output, scrap, rework and housekeeping targets are met at all times
Carry out quality audits and ensure that products are within specification
Update your team on performance against targets
Ensure employees work according to Work Instruction
Communicate problems with other departmental leaders
Develop employee training plan and update training records according to companys Training Plan
Ensure adherence to company policies and regulations
Manage all internal performance monitoring systems ( OEE, SCADA )
Drive plant First Time Pass Rate improvements in Foundry.

Qualifications:

Trade Certificate in Tool, Jig, and Die Making or relevant qualification would be preferred.
A tertiary qualification in the Quality / Production field will be an advantage
Successfully completion of Supervision Programme.

Experience:

At least 10 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
At least 5 years as a Supervisor/Technician/Team Leader (foundry experience essential)
Should have thorough knowledge of manufacturing processes
Thorough knowledge of quality standards and requirements
Thorough knowledge of all foundry processes is essential

Other:

Excellent attendance and impeccable disciplinary records
Strong Communication and Leadership skills
Computer literacy essential
Good decision-making and problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
Valid SA driver's license will have an added advantage
