FP&A Manager - Cape Town City Centre

Key Responsibilities:

Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis -
leading the creation of annual budgets and forecasts, conducting detailed variance analysis. You will collaborate with senior leadership to involve explaining discrepancies, ensuring financial plans align with organisational objectives

Decision support and strategic planning - contributing financial insights to strategic decision-making through effective modelling and analysis and working with senior leadership to align financial considerations with broader business goals.

Reporting - preparing and presenting financial reports, dashboards, and board materials for senior management. Additionally, you manage stakeholder relations, highlighting key non-financial metrics and SaaS KPIs.

Continuous improvement - Identifying opportunities for process improvement, you design financial data requirements and implement new tools and methodologies. Your focus extends to enhancing internal systems and processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in handling financial information.

Business partnering - collaboration across departments, fostering effective communication and understanding of financial goals to enhance overall company performance.

Finance projects management - Leading finance projects, including deal support for fundraising and M&A activities as applicable.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Professional Accounting Qualification or similar Investment Banking qualifications
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g. finance or statistical degree) or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years working within a finance function in a relevant industry (public accounting, corporate finance, FP&A, analyst etc)
