Our Retail Group Client , is seeking a dynamic and experienced Fragrance Buyer based in Umhlanga, Durban The Fragrance Buyer will play a crucial role in sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing consumables from suppliers, as well as monitoring inventory levels and ensuring the timely delivery of goods. Salary: M arket Related-depending on the candidate's qualifications and experience. Requirements: Matric and Completed a Degree in Fragrance /Fashion/Apparel Design, Supply Chain Diploma, Retail Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the Fragrance industry as a buyer. Proven track record of successful negotiations and cost-effective procurement. Familiarity with market trends and a keen eye for fashion and Fragrance products. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of inventory management systems and processes. Responsibilities: Sourcing and Negotiation: Identify and establish relationships with reliable suppliers. Negotiate terms and conditions to secure advantageous agreements. Stay updated on market trends and maintain awareness of competitor pricing. Procurement: Execute the procurement process efficiently, ensuring the acquisition of high-quality products. Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure compliance with company standards. Inventory Management: Regularly assess inventory levels and reorder stock as needed. Implement effective inventory control measures to minimize stockouts and excess inventory. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as marketing and sales to align purchasing strategies with business goals. Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure a seamless supply chain process. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all purchased products meet quality standards and comply with relevant regulations. Collaborate with quality control teams to address any product-related issues.
