Cash Converters Southern Africa requires the support of a strong salesperson to assist in achieving the sales targets of the company. This role reports to the Group Franchise Sales and Marketing Director. The position is based out of the Gauteng Head Office, but this role is required to travel to sales prospects as needed. To sell and open 10 new Cash Converters franchises per annum, for five years To build and maintain a consistent pipeline of potential franchisee prospects. To groom the pipeline constantly to ensure the overall new stores target is met annually. To secure suitable prospective buyers for any Cash Converters stores available for re-sale. To screen prospects and manage the process to be able to present them to the CEO for the sign off and approval as a franchisee. To ensure all required documentation is collected and filed accurately as per all relevant legislative, regulatory, site and funding requirements. To assist with the end-to-end resales process. To assist with the renewals of franchise agreements and leases, or re-locations as needed. To work with the relevant team members to drive the following processes: Ongoing marketing and lead sourcing activity; Due diligence process; Facilitate and ensure the correct signing of the franchise agreement; Site selection and lease negotiation; Preparing of a business plan; Bank funding applications through to payout; Handover of a new store build to the project team; An end to end delivery of the franchise prospect through to an operating franchisee in a store; Franchise renewals; Resales of existing stores; Lease renewals. Job Duties: Ongoing marketing and lead sourcing activity Lead generation: work with the marketing team and within the specified budget available to build and maintain a pipeline of relevant franchisee prospects. Groom this pipeline to ensure regular contact with qualified franchisee prospect leads in order to convert these individuals to Cash Converters franchisees. Screen prospects, acquire completed enquiry forms, assist with any information required by the prospect regarding the Cash Converters franchise, meet with the prospects as needed to showcase the Cash Converters store and franchise offering. Disclosure document Ensure the annual update of the Disclosure Document per template in accordance with the costings shared across the business units. This document is a critical sales tool for new prospects and must be continuously updated and used as a reference tool. Facilitate and ensure the correct signing of the franchise agreement Complete and file all documentation relating to screening of prospective franchisee leads, including documents such as; ITC and criminal checks Getting to know you forms Statement of assets and liabilities forms Resale stores' information and documentation Lease amendments or renewals as needed Obtain all relevant information (SM, Annexures, Financial information etc) and preparing PIP. Capturing and maintaining, as needed, network growth contacts in the relevant BIAB locations; Contract Manager Contact Manager Sites Manager Cashies Base. Work with the Franchise Sales Administrator to ensure all necessary administrative support is in place during the sign up and onboarding process for new franchisees or new store purchases such as; Obtaining and filing the required KYC documents Neighbouring letters to existing stores on new store opening Endowment Policy admin, including obtaining letterheads from Marketing and any other supporting documentation required Compiling any information packs required by any institution such as the banks, landlords, or any related entities. Assist the prospect to complete and sign the necessary paperwork as created by the Franchise Sales Administrator including documents such as; All legal documents as required for signing up, maintaining and terminating sale agreements and franchise agreements (cancellation agreements, addendums, business plans, budget documents, and so forth). All DocuSign documents Site selection and lease negotiation Maintain an accurate “Sites Database” for all existing properties. Maintain an accurate list of potential sites for prospective new store locations. Work with the property management company as needed to facilitate site selection long and short lists, lease negotiations, and final signing of the contracts. Arranging necessary appointments Preparing of a business plan and bank funding applications through to payout Preparation of the business plan for required funding and submission to the banks where necessary. Working through this process to the point of securing the funding. Collation of documents for presentation to bankers and clients Handover of a new store build to the project team Ensure all necessary teams are involved as required during this process. Ensure all necessary triggers are in place and in order as needed. Maintain oversight of this process to ensure store takeover or opening occurs timeously. Administration Maintain all relevant filing systems - both physical and Business in a Box, or any other business required system. Correct use of Lotus Notes. Attending relevant meetings as necessary and maintain records as needed. Key performance indicators Number of leads generated monthly; Number of Cash Converters franchise agreements signed; Number of new Cash Converters stores opened; Number of Cash Converters stores resold; Degree Proven sales track record At least seven years experience in sales, experience in franchising is a bonus Negotiable based on experience Apply Now
