Job Title: Boilermaker Location: Benoni, Gauteng, South Africa Reference: BOILERMAKER Contract Type: Contract 12 Months Salary: Market Related Specification This position exists to ensure the safe efficient installation, maintenance and repairs of all steel pipes, chutes, conveyors and other mining and construction beneficiation plant equipment and specialised steel manufacturing. epairs all mechanical equipment Conduct plant inspection on all key mechanical equipment Identifies and prioritise equipment in need of maintenance/repairs Plans down time for repairs/maintenance Plans for material and men to assist Inform foreman Do risk assessment/study procedures Do repairs/maintenance Fabricate general steelwork QUALIFICATIONS N3 – Mechanical engineering subjects Trade Test-Boilermaker- MQA/MERSETA preferred EXPERIENCE 5 years minimum post trade test experience as Boilermaker (Section 13 Artisan) 2 year Learnership/Apprentice in Mining or Construction SKILLS, QUALITIES and ABILITIES REQUIRED Verbal communication Understand what constitutes unsafe conditions and –behavior Knowledge of unsafe behaviour-what does it mean?
