Job Functions Operator Industries Mining Specification Job Title: Excavator operator Location: Rustenburg, North West, South Africa Reference: Excavator operator Contract Type: Permanent/Contract 24 Months Salary: Market Related Job Summary: To assist operations where an excavator is required to make the operating environment safer and more convenient by opening trenches and cleaning out areas where other equipment have difficulty operating. Operation of excavator to either load, dig , clean trenches or ditch slimes dam Ensure that relevant SOP’s ( Standard operating procedure ) for the specific machine is followed at all times Responsible for general housekeeping of the machine General inspection of the machine before and after the shift and complete inspection checklist. Adhere to safety rules and regulations. Requirements Education Requirement: Minimum Grade 12 Valid MQA accredited Excavator Competency Certificate Valid Code 10 driver’s license Previous excavator license or permit will be advantage Tailings experience will be an advantage EXPERIENCE Approximately 2-3 years relevant work experience in an earthmoving environment Experience and certification with other Machinery will be advantageous SKILLS, QUALITIES AND ABILITIES REQUIRED Excellent communication skills ( verbal & written) Ability to operate without supervision Able to read, write and speak (English) Planning & problem solving skills Special Regulations/ Requirement: Clear criminal record Pass security screening Medical fitness must be good Dover testing To Apply Click Here Applicaton Deadline: Date 22/01/2021 Apply Now
