Looking for an experienced RoadFreight Customer Controller. Must have a minimum of 5 yrs experience within this role. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Monitoring Vessels and cargo Communicating with the clients regarding their status of their delivery. Good knowledge of Shipments and the processes that need to be followed Good Knowledge of truck trailers and the loading restrictions per truck. Knowledge of containerised breakbulk cargo A good LCL Background is beneficial. Understanding of Hazardous Commodities, Reefer and Project Cargo such as heavy steel coils etc. Knowledge of security risks Previous experience with fleet controlling will be advantageous The successful candidate will possess the following key requirements: Well organized with the ability to work closely as a team and with other internal departments Ensure good time management Able to cope and accustomed to working under pressure to meet fixed deadlines Good analytical skills and detail orientated KPI Aware and problem solving Good communication skills Being able to work independently and as part of a team Enthusiastic, flexible, and self-motivated Calm, professional, helpful, and courteous always Team player R20 000.00 - R30 000.00 p/m Based in Durban and Benoni Jhb Company Cell Phone and 50% Medical Aid Company Contribution.
