Front Office Administrator - Vaalwater
Candidate Requirements:
Grade 12
A qualification in Hospitality is advantageous
Should have a basic understanding of bookkeeping
Must have at least 3 years experience in a similar position
Should have a valid RSA ID
Must submit application with Police Clearance certificate
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially with good Excel Skills
Must have good working knowledge of Hospitality PMS system (OPERA would be a bonus)
Must be friendly and professional
Should have excellent communication skills (Written and Verbal)
Must be able to confidently deal with accounts and all front office related duties
Front Office Duties:
To ensure that check-in procedures are strictly adhered to
To ensure that all guest charges are correctly entered
To ensure that credit control procedures are strictly adhered
To ensure that accounts are balanced daily
To manage PMS system settings & keep all databases up to
date, including rate management.
To ensure that enquiries, messages, etc. are dealt with
courteously and efficiently
Admin Duties:
Ensure daily revenue reports are updated accurately &
distributed.
Ensure daily EOD procedures as completed & processed,
ensuring all postings have been posted, & are accurate.
Reconciliation of daily credit card reports, processing &
reporting of any variances.
Allocation of bank transfers on the PMS system on a daily basis, & reconciliation to OPERA reporting.
Reconciling & processing
To ensure all purchases are approved & purchase orders
issued as required
