Fund Financial Manager - Johannesburg
Hire Resolve has partnered with a leading Fund Manager and we are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fund Financial Manager to join this dynamic team. As the Fund Financial Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial management of various funds. Your expertise in fund accounting, financial reporting, and compliance will be essential in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information. Responsibilities Manage the financial operations of multiple funds, ensuring accurate and timely reporting. Oversee fund accounting activities, including investment valuations, cash flow monitoring, and fund performance analysis. Prepare and review financial statements and reports for investors, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders. Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and industry standards. Develop and maintain effective relationships with fund administrators, auditors, and other external service providers. Participate in the due diligence process for new fund launches and fund restructuring. Monitor and assess the financial performance of the funds, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategic initiatives. Supervise and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support in their professional development. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CA(SA) or CFA designation preferred. Strong Academics during University Minimum of 5 years of experience in fund accounting or fund financial management. Strong knowledge of fund structures, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. Experience with fund administration platforms and systems. Proficiency in financial analysis, reporting, and modeling. Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
