The General Accountant will be supporting the existing financial team with the reconciliation of day-to-day transections and oversight of the month end cut-off processing a for clean trail balance and accurate management accounts, and offer technical support to the general staff for accurate processing Preparation of monthly management accounts Reconcile balance sheet accounts Process journals Process the daily cashbook Monthly reconciliation of creditors statements to supporting documentation Management of the accounts receivables aging and collections on debtors Preparation of annual budgets Reconcile daily cash ups Validate customer credit applications Process Monthly Salaries & Weekly Wages journals Timeous preparations and Submit PAYE, VAT, and COIDA returns Liaise with external auditors and consultants Provide technical support to operational staff Other ad hoc tasks Facilitate stock take Relevant Accounting qualification essential 3 years experience in a similar role on Pastel, Kerridge K8, SAP experience would be advantageous CTC – R25k-R35k
