The successful candidate must have the following basic requirements: • Grade 12 or equivalent (NQF Level 4) • Trade Certificate - Section 13 / 26 (D) • Legal appointment 2.9.2 • N4 Engineering qualification or equivalent • Good communication skills in English • Drivers license code B, EB or C1 • Medical Certificate of Fitness Minimum 5-7 years' experience in the mining industry, of which at least 4 years in a supervisory capacity • Minimum 3 - 4 years' experience on the operation and maintenance of conveyors, chairlifts, water and power reticulation in a supervisory capacity • Must be familiar with risk assessment procedures • Mining safety, health and environmental awareness • Computer literacy - MS Office Suite package • SAP experience (advantageous) Effective planning, monitoring and maintenance of conveyor belts • Effective implementation and administration of necessary systems • Employee capacity enhancement and optimisation • Support the overall business management of the mine • Equipment failure analysis • Detailed equipment availability, utilisation and performance • Adherence to technical specifications and standards Apply Now
