Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our team and drive the continued growth and success of the business. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in business development, strategic leadership, and operational management. Salary: From R50,000 per month - depending on previous experience Key Responsibilities: Oversee all day to day operations and maintain high operational standards Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and expand the client base Develop, implement and maintain accurate financial management Develop, cultivate and manage relationships with all clients, including global booking agencies, corporate businesses and travel managers to maximize business opportunities Lead and manage the sales pipeline in line with the budget and forecasts with the sales aspect focusing on growing clients, rather than selling bed-nights Drive innovation and technology adoption to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction Qualifications and skills: Bachelor’s degree/diploma in general management, business administration, sales, or related field Minimum of five years' experience in a general management role, preferably within the luxury brands, travel sector, or high-end hospitality industry Proven track record in strategic direction, operational management, and business developmentProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Proficiency with operating CRM systems Ability to manage budgets and effective cost management Strong communication and interpersonal skillsStrong leadership, management and team development skills Ability to operate with a sense of urgency and maintain high standards Required experience: Experience with reporting to a board of directors Experience with translating and executing strategies into actionable goals aligned with strategic objectives Experience with developing and executing sales strategies to optimize results Experience with prospecting and engaging with potential clients Ability to maintain timely and appropriate communication with clients throughout the sales process Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage resources effectively If you are a results-oriented leader with a passion for business development and a drive for service excellence, we invite you t https://protool.gumtree.co.za/external-link-browser.html?urlaHR0cHM6Ly9lbi16YS53aGF0am9icy5jb20vY29vcG9iX19jcGxfX18xMzIwXzU3MDM3X180OTc/dXRtX3NvdXJjZT1ndW10cmVlJnV0bV9tZWRpdW09ZmVlZCZrZXl3b3JkPQ&jid1794167&xid1320_57037 Apply Now
