KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
Financial Management:
- Ensure that the necessary systems are in place to control cash, bank transfers etc.
- Managing Debtors and Creditors
- Managing stock ordering;
- Managing cash handling;
- Controlling margins and wastage and stock losses.
Stock Management:
- Ensure sufficient stock levels at all times;
- Manage stock ordering;
- Monitor and control margins, wastage and stock losses;
- Ensure that the best products at the best possible price is available.
Site Management/Marketing:
- Ensure compliance with different operating procedures
- Develop, implement and maintain a practical marketing plan, over and above the fuel companys campaigns;
- Ensure that the layout is in accordance with company's standards;
- Compiling marketing strategy in order to ensure profitability, market awareness etc;
Staff Management:
- Responsible for full HR function i.e. recruitment, new staff appointments, staff training etc.;
- Keep staff files and record updated;
- Ensure that staff are informed and trained on the company's Code of Conduct;
- Staff management including rosters and shifts.
NON-NEGOTIABLE REQUIREMENTS:- Matric with Diploma business management or relevant;
- 7 - 10 years experience in managing a retail concern with strong financial background;
- HSEQ qualification with experience in managing Health and Safety regulations;
- Knowledge of oil and gasoline regulations and operating procedures.
