KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

Financial Management:
  • Ensure that the necessary systems are in place to control cash, bank transfers etc.
  • Managing Debtors and Creditors
  • Managing stock ordering;
  • Managing cash handling;
  • Controlling margins and wastage and stock losses.
Stock Management:
  • Ensure sufficient stock levels at all times;
  • Manage stock ordering;
  • Monitor and control margins, wastage and stock losses;
  • Ensure that the best products at the best possible price is available.
Site Management/Marketing:
  • Ensure compliance with different operating procedures
  • Develop, implement and maintain a practical marketing plan, over and above the fuel companys campaigns;
  • Ensure that the layout is in accordance with company's standards;
  • Compiling marketing strategy in order to ensure profitability, market awareness etc;
Staff Management:
  • Responsible for full HR function i.e. recruitment, new staff appointments, staff training etc.;
  • Keep staff files and record updated;
  • Ensure that staff are informed and trained on the company's Code of Conduct;
  • Staff management including rosters and shifts.
NON-NEGOTIABLE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Matric with Diploma business management or relevant;
  • 7 - 10 years experience in managing a retail concern with strong financial background;
  • HSEQ qualification with experience in managing Health and Safety regulations;
  • Knowledge of oil and gasoline regulations and operating procedures.
