General Manager (Game Farm - Bela-Bela) - South Africa
We are looking for a competent and experienced Afrikaans speaking General Manager at our beautiful Game Farm situated just outside Bela-Bela in the Limpopo Province. Permanent (subject to 3 month fixed term contract) • To start: Immediately • Primary office locations: Bela-Bela • Gender: Male • Salary: R40 000.00- R50 000.00 • Age: 35 – 45 • Accommodation: Accommodation will be provided. • Transport: Company vehicle for business purposes will be provided. • Closing date: 1 December 2023 Key Requirements: Education: Must have a BCom accounting degree or equivalent. Leadership Qualities: Well-spoken individual who takes initiative and leads by example for the team. Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented, organized, and responsible, with the ability to excel in System, Structure, and Planning (SSP). Staff Management: Proven record of effectively and empathetically managing a team of at least 50 staff members. Language Proficiency: Fluent in Afrikaans and English to facilitate effective communication with staff, guests, and local communities. Customer Relations Skills: Exhibits excellent people relations skills with hands-on experience in hosting duties. Diversity and Cultural Sensitivity: Able to work seamlessly with a diverse group of people, including staff, rural communities, and 5- star guests. Concession Operations: Knowledge of concession operations and skilled at being culturally sensitive. Professional Appearance: Presents a professional and well-groomed appearance.
