General Worker (Steel) - Cape Town Region
Job Title: General Workers (Steel) Location: Cape Town, Western Cape Salary: Market-Related Duties: Assist with fabrication tasks including cutting, bending, and assembling steel materials. Handle and transport steel materials within the workshop or construction site. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the work area and perform basic equipment maintenance. Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment. Assist in setting up machinery, scaffolding, and work areas as needed. Follow instructions from supervisors and communicate effectively with team members. Requirements: Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects safely. Basic literacy and numeracy skills; high school diploma or equivalent preferred. Strong work ethic, dependability, and punctuality. Awareness of safety practices and willingness to follow safety protocols. Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly. Adaptability to changing work environments and tasks. Attention to detail and ability to recognize and report issues or defects.
