Title: Geology Manager – Mining Industry Location: Limpopo, South AfricaHire Resolve's client is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Geology Manager to oversee the Geology Department within their mining operation in Limpopo. The Geology Manager will be responsible for leading a team of Geologists in conducting geological surveys, analysis, and exploration activities to support mining operations and ensure optimal resource extraction.Responsibilities:Develop and implement geology exploration and development plans to maximize mineral resource extraction.Supervise a team of geologists in conducting geological surveys, mapping, and core sampling to identify mineral deposits.Interpret geological data to determine ore body characteristics, mineralization trends, and potential risks.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize mine planning, extraction methods, and processing strategies.Monitor and evaluate drilling programmes to assess ore quality, quantity, and continuity.Ensure compliance with mining regulations, environmental standards, and safety protocols.Manage geological databases, reports, and documentation to track exploration progress and findings.Provide technical expertise and guidance to support decision-making processes related to mine development and expansion.Identify opportunities for operational improvements, cost reduction, and resource optimization.Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, regulatory authorities, and local communities.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Mining Engineering, or related field.
