Job Description You will promote safety through participating in high level SHE reviews, recommending appropriate actions where necessary, keeping abreast of SHE industry best practices and ensuring communication to stakeholders, peer groups and reporting staff. More of your responsibilities will include: Managing geological data acquisition to ensure data integrity and enable geological modelling of the ore body Ensuring the mineral resource extraction is maximised Ensuring geological standards are in place and maintained Monitoring, prediction, and reconciliation of grade control processes Assisting with geological and quality problem solving activities on the operations Assisting with rock engineering related activities and associated standards compliance on the operations Ensuring Mineral Resource Management and Expansion through ensuring proper corporate governance Providing input and review life of mine production strategies and planning as well as acting as the lead competent person in terms of signing off resource and reserves Assisting with technical projects, ad hoc evaluation of brownfields mineral resource opportunities and provide input into capital project geological reports and Competent Persons Reports Effective people management and financial control Participating in the Operational Annual Budgeting and 5-year forecasts, WCS budget reviews as well as capital expenditure reviews and presentations This role is in the Geoscience department at Band 6 and reports to the Technical Services Manager
