The primary responsibility of the Grade B Control Room Supervisor is to ensure an efficient operation of the Control Room. The Grade A Control Room Supervisor will be reporting directly to the Contracts Manager KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: •Enforce the Company's ‘Code of Conduct' •Ensure that the Control Room is fully operational and efficient •Handle and resolve Staff and Client Complaints •Carry out duties and tasks as per the Site Job Description •Ensure that the primary function of the Control Room is always upheld •Must be able to multi-task from CCTV monitoring position to answering telephone calls in the Control Room and issuing access reference numbers •Capturing CHASE Entries •Ensure Updates on Profit are captured •Access Control Procedures to be followed •Responsible for CCTV Investigations •Ensuring that the Control Room is always on 100% staffing •Advance Leave planning for staff •Advance Rostering for staff •Ongoing Training and Development with staff •CCTV Investigations, putting together pre-liminary reports with pictures •Compilation of Incident Reports on CHASE •Enforcing discipline on any non-conformance •Feedback to Site Manager for any Operational challenges with proposed solutions •Step in to assist the Operation on Weekends, if/when there are huge challenges •Camera spot checking on Staff MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: •PSIRA Grade A Registered •Matric Certified •Solid Computer Proficiency •Knowledge of Profit •5 years of experience in the Security Industry •5 years of Control Room/CCTV Experience/ Call centre experience •Electronic Equipment experience will be advantageous •First Aid, Fire Fighting, Health and Safety REP training will be advantageous •Estate Experience will be advantageous •Knowledge of the Security Industry regulations including Operational and Client requirements COMPETENCIES: •Attention to detail •Ability to generate reports •Excellent reporting skills •Excellent verbal and written communication Skills •Excellent telephone etiquette Skills •Ability to effectively deal with Employees, Clients and Public Hourly Rate - As per SD6
