Grant - Finance Manager (Public Health) - - Johannesburg

One of our diagnostic pathology clients are looking for an experienced Finance Manager from the Public Health sector, with funding/grants experience to join their team in JHB.

Responsibilities:

Supervising Grant Accountants and Administrators
Implementing recommendations
Stakeholder engagement
Manage compiling of general ledger recons
Project management - cost centre
Oversee transactions and journal entries
Draft grant reports
Manage payments and claims
Planning and overseeing audits
Resolve complex accounting issues

Must have:

Matric
ND Financial Management / Accounting
No less than 8 years' experience within funding / grants, of which 5 years' must have been within a supervisor / manager role
Familiar with PPPFA, PFMA, Treasure regulations, GRAP, BBBEE
Knowledge of financial reporting and budgeting
Analytical
Communication
Management
Numerical
Business acumen
Valid drivers' license
Clear ITC (Credit record)
Clear criminal record
Reference checks will be conducted upfront
