JOB DESCRIPTION Key Responsibilities: Design in-store and digital marketing Design and production of promotional material from start to finished Conceptualisation and production of window displays and visual merchandise. Facilitate reproduction and printing. Efficient use of (Apple Mac) DTP system, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign is essential. Coordinating photo shoots Assist in production of marketing material where necessary Assist in the preparation of mock window displays Qualifications and Experience: Minimum 2 years' relevant experience Diploma in Graphic Art / Design Well-versed in digital Experience with brand design and brand identity A portfolio showcasing your work and experience Skills: Understand printing, repro, photography & digital process Understanding of best practice for print - NB Efficient use of (Apple Mac) DTP system, Illustrator as well as Photoshop, and InDesign is essential, premier pro (adobe) or after affects & Adobe suite High level of creativity and has the ability to be innovative Proficient in MS Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote etc.) Strong presentation skills Strong multitasking skills (ability to work on more than one brief at any given time) Strong time management skills Team player with the ability to work independently Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment Behaviours: Conveys information and communicates ideas in a clear, concise and impactful manner Creates an environment that fosters and nurtures a culture of creativity which drives success Takes accountability and ensures others are held to account on agreed upon performance targets Quickly adapts and acquires new knowledge, skills, and competencies in a rapidly changing environment Develops plans and prioritises initiatives that align to the organisational goals and objectives Leverages new technology to enhance productivity, improve problem solving, and support business growth Preference will be given, but not limited to candidates from designated groups in terms of the Employment Equity Act.
