Graphic Designer - TFG Group Marketing - South Africa

JOB DESCRIPTION Responsibilities: Creative design and strategy implementation Responsible for ensuring design is aligned with the brand strategy and trends. Introduce newness, creativity and innovation. Researches and recommends more innovative ways of operating and executing. Brand consistency, design and conceptualizing Concept & execution of internal and external communication. Create digital and printed design elements for TFG campaigns including mailers and social media. Assist TFG retail brands to implement the campaigns in-store and online. Production and project management Manages the production of material from creation & design to end printed/published artwork. Ensures that all elements produced are within the guidelines of the brief, meet the specific requirement, and consistently maintain brand CI. Quality controls print and digital material. Customer service, relationship management and communication Liaises directly with suppliers re artwork queries Procure most productive and efficient suppliers Administration Facilitates administrative process, i.e. actions lists, timing plans, co-ordinate photographic requirements, and sign-off processes etc. Qualifications and Experience: Minimum four years' experience as a Graphic Designer Well-versed in digital (digital art direction experience is essential) Experience with brand design and brand identity A portfolio showcasing your work and experience Skills: Has thorough knowledge and efficient use of Apple Mac operating system and software, including Adobe Photoshop, InDesign. After Effect & Premiere Pro would be an advantage. Is able to interpret concepts (ATL & BTL) Has an understanding of Branding & corporate identities Has a good knowledge of printing, typography and reproduction Has design and layout experience, can work with and craft type Can present designs for approval and adapt where necessary Is highly creative and has the ability to be innovative Is able to work under pressure and has lots of energy and drive Is organised, deadline driven and excellent with time management Daily timeous liaison with clients Has good attention to detail Is flexible, solution-driven and is a good team player Behaviours: conveys information and communicates ideas in a clear, concise and impactful manner creates an environment that fosters and nurtures a culture of creativity which drives success takes accountability and ensures others are held to account on agreed upon performance targets quickly adapts and acquires new knowledge, skills, and competencies in a rapidly changing environment develops plans and prioritises initiatives that align to the organisational goals and objectives leverages new technology to enhance productivity, improve problem solving, and support business growth Preference will be given, but not limited to candidates from designated groups in terms of the Employment Equity Act.
