Grid Application Assistant - Johannesburg
Purpose:
The main purpose of the role is to provide support and assistance to the business for its SSEG and NERSA applications.
Qualification:
- Experience with Grid Compliance, and relevant appliance applications
- Relevant qualification
- Valid driver’s license
Responsibilities:
- Assist with overseeing the Grid applications for all sites
- Track the applications progress
- Provide assistance with the:
- Municipal submissions
- Filling out the forms and putting together packages to submit to municipalities
- Assisting with applications submissions to various municipalities
- Assisting with the collection of information for the Grid impact studies (systems over 350KW or for some, systems over 1MW)
- Track the applications progresses and work to get municipal approvals
- Municipal submissions
- NERSA submissions (for systems over 100KW)
- Using the municipal letters to submit the applications to NERSA
- Assist with the fetching the NERSA approval packs
- CAA/ ANTS submissions
- Submissions of the applications to ATNS
- Client management/ correspondence:
- Communicating the applications progress to the client and provide clarity and/or provide assistance on any queries regarding the applications process
- Compiling the applications packages
- Communicating with the team and client to get signatures from all relevant stakeholders and submissions
- Managing engagement with the client throughout the applications process
- Updating the client on the applications progress
- Provide clients with approval letters
- Implement project administration processes according to requirements.
- Conduct project documentation management to support project processes.
- Distribute information / documents to relevant stakeholders
- Document control
- Receive requests
- Compiling the applications packages -getting information from the team
