Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) presents an exciting opportunity for a talented Group Accounts Controller with relevant skills and experience, to join the CCBA (IBS) team. The successful applicant will be reporting into the Regional and National Credit Manager. CCBA is the largest African Coca-Cola bottler, accounting for 40% of all Coca-Cola volumes on the continent. The primary purpose of the Group Accounts Controller is to: Drive the delivery of CCBA’s required working capital targets through the development and implementation of the Credit business plan for exports, internal bottlers, Wholesale and Local National Accounts Support the Centre of Scale (CoS) Operations Manager in implementing credit processes appropriate to CCBA's Route to Market Strategy and in support of our competitive market position. Support the Centre of Scale (CoS) Operations Manager and Group Accounts Team Leader with the timely collection of customer payments through regular and focused external customer engagements. Promote increased profitability through the management of customer credit risk profiles in accordance with the Credit Policy and Procedures. Key Duties & Responsibilities Develop and implement the credit business plan for the Group accounts Monitoring of the relevant Group Accounts debtors book status and support the identification of gaps and define corrective actions for CoS, Genpact and CCBA’s operational teams. Manage the positive & negative impacts of credit dealing on volume, operational effectiveness and competitor activity, to provide proactive decision-making support to stakeholders within the business. Manage and control credit limits whilst minimising exposure to bad debt. High and regular engagement with customers and Key Account Managers to ensure a high customer service ethic and minimal business interruption Responsible for educating both internal and external customers on credit policies and procedures, in the use of their products and services. Support the development of a continuous improvement mind set within CCBA’s credit, continuously driving to improve processes and reduce costs. Support the implementation and maintenance of a strong system of governance and control within the CCBA’s credit. Support the implementation and education of efficient and cost effective processes that facilitate the delivery of customer service excellence. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for timely query resolution for the Group accounts debtors book. Skills, Experience & Education Qualifications: Bachelor of Commerce or relevant Finance qualification Experience: 5 years credit experience at a supervisory / management level Superior knowledge of the National Credit Act, with an ability to adapt to relevant legislation (Credit or Industry Regulatory Acts.) Superior knowledge of the customer credit risk environment, business/ financial acumen and decision making tools Apply Now
