Are you a seasoned engineer with a knack for ensuring machinery operates at peak performance? Our client, a leader in the paper, pulp, and corrugated packaging solutions industry, is seeking a dynamic Group Asset Reliability Engineer to take charge of the reliability of their installed asset base.
Purpose of the Job:
Your mission will be to ensure that plant machinery continues to reliably deliver quality products safely across the Group of companies.
Reporting To:
Group Engineering Manager
Main Responsibilities:
- Review and refine maintenance plans and tasks.
- Conduct and evaluate Root Cause Failure Analysis (Level 3) to foster a culture of problem-solving.
- Keep Equipment Balance Sheets up-to-date for timely maintenance.
- Oversee major overhaul costs and implement performance measures with suppliers.
- Provide monthly Group reports prioritizing opportunities and cost savings.
- Share and adopt learnings from RCFA processes across all sites.
- Facilitate team problem-solving on key opportunities with guidance from the Group Engineering Manager.
- Perform Bad Actor Analysis and assist sites in improving maintenance strategies.
- Communicate and manage project plans with all stakeholders to ensure no risk to business continuity.
- Conduct regular machine audits and track progress on closing gaps.
- Support focused improvement projects across the Group.
Required Skills/Competencies:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Extreme attention to detail and process-oriented.
- Deadline-driven with effective time management and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships.
Required Minimum Qualifications/Experience:
- B.Eng or BSc Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in the paper, pulp, and corrugated packaging solutions environments.
- Extensive experience in plant maintenance and asset reliability.
