Group Consolidation and Reporting Accountant - Johannesburg


Job Description:
As the Group Consolidation and Reporting Accountant, your key responsibilities are:
Reviewing head office annual budgets and VAT returns
Prepare monthly management reports for the group
Draft monthly consolidations journals
Review cashflow bi-weekly
Prepare the annual budgets for the entire group
Review business tax schedules
Manage Group internal and external audits and ensure subsidiary statutory audits are completed timeously
Ensure that the Annual Financial Statements are being signed off
Address SARS related queries
Manage the fixed asset registers
Authorize and release payments
Identify and develop new accounting policies across the group
Ensure IFRS compliance as well as corporate governance
Additional tasks required by management

Skills & Experience:
2-4 years of commercial experience on group level
Strong understanding of Group consolidation and reporting
Advanced Excel skills
Sage X3 experience would be beneficial

Qualification:
CA(SA) designation
Relevant Finance or Accounting degree
Grade 12 (Matric)
