JOB DESCRIPTION Key Responsibilities: Responsible for supporting the development and execution of the risk culture across the Group. Maintaining and assisting with the updating of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework and processes across the Group. Assist in the application of the TFG risk methodology and risk awareness initiatives. Arrange, coordinate, and facilitate meetings. Maintain meeting agendas and minutes and send emails. Provide support with the risk analysis process. Preparation of annual risk assessment workshop presentations and other ERM chaired presentations. Supporting with the climate change risks identification and scenario work. Supporting with the admin and workshop preparations for the Groups Double Materiality reporting. Maintaining processes such as risk registers, assurance plan evidence, third party risk assessment tool and the incident and crisis tool across the Group. Responsible to support users in using the various risk tools Ensuring the correct controls have been timely captured against the risk/s. Assessing and analysing risks through KRIs, predictive analytics, risk metrics, research, and insights. Supporting the compiling of presentation including the monthly reporting pack, CEO/CFO update and board reports. Compiling of presentations based on risk research, media, and key internal and external highlights applicable to the Group. Assisting with the development and delivery of various risk awareness initiatives, ERM trainings and change management. Sharing risk insights with the business and engaging the business on responses and mitigations. Continuous monitoring and updating of emerging risks, risk events and risk incidents. Helping to develop processes and tools to improve the ERM processes. Qualifications and Experience: BCom degree - Risk Management, Internal Audit, Business Management, Finance, Accounting. A minimum of 3 years Enterprise Risk Management or Business Risk experience Member of the Institute of Risk Management SA Exposure to the retail sector advantageous Skills: Organised and thorough Administratively strong with high attention to detail and accuracy Passion for continuous learning Good teamwork skills Good coaching skills Good interpersonal communication skills. Good analytical skills. Computer proficiency in MS office (Excel, Word & Outlook) Strong understanding of the macroeconomic environment. Deadline driven Good research skills Ability to critically analyse data Behaviours: Conveys information and communicates ideas in a clear, concise and impactful manner Effectively works with others to achieve shared goals Consistently makes timely, well-rounded and informed decisions Leverages new technology to enhance productivity, improve problem solving, and support business growth Inspires, motivates and empowers individuals to go above and beyond for the benefit of the team and the organisation Develops plans and prioritises initiatives that align to the organisational goals and objectives Assesses and improves the efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of various work processes Quickly adapts and acquires new knowledge, skills, and competencies in a rapidly changing environment Interprets and simplifies complex and contradictory information when resolving organisational problems Takes accountability and ensures others are held to account on agreed upon performance targets Preference will be given, but not limited to candidates from designated groups in terms of the Employment Equity Act.
