Reference: CPT000879-CL-1 My client, a well-known and global Retailer is currently looking to appoint a performance orientated Group Financial Analyst to join their team. We are looking for applicants with sound IFRS knowledge and experience within the Retail industry is a non-negotiable requirement. This is a full time office position based in Somerset West, Cape Town. Qualifications required: Degree in Finance or Accounting or, Qualified CA(SA) or CIMA Skills and experience required: 5 – 10 years' experience in a similar finance position. Multinational company experience is preferred. Strong computer literacy – Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Ability to thrive in a team environment as well as independently. Task and performance oriented. Strong communication skills since reporting is done on a global level. Excellent analytical skills. Deadline driven. Attention to detail. Strong project management skills. Non-negotiable requirements: Sound IFRS knowledge Retail experience Power BI experience Job description: Review financial results, budgets and forecasts. Profit and Loss, Cash flow and KPI management. Budgeting and forecasting. Financial Analysis on retail stores. Identify, implement and control group policies and procedures. Continuous improvement.
