Job description A top company in the insurance industry is seeking a Chartered Accountant CA(SA) to join their Group Finance department as a Group Finance Manager. Duties The Group Finance Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day financial management of the company. The Group Finance Manager will be responsible for financial analysis, financial planning and budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, risk management, internal controls, providing assistance to SAICA training officer and ad hoc tasks. They will also be responsible for managing a team of finance professionals. Qualifications Matric. BCom degree in Accounting Science Certificate In Theory of Accounting (Honours Degree) (CTA) Must be a Charted Accountant CA(SA) 3-5 years' Experience in financial/management reporting experience Experience in Long Term Insurance Industry. Management experience will be advantageous. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong leadership and team management skills Experience in working with financial software and systems. Ability to work collaboratively with management teams, clients, and employees at all levels. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
