Group Financial Accountant - - Centurion

Our busy client in the Mining industry is looking for an experienced Group Financial Accountant to join them

Minimum requirements:

Matric
Postgraduate business qualification will be advantageous (CA, ACMA)
Minimum required qualification for this position is BCom Accounting (or equivalent) with completed articles at an Auditing and Accounting Practice
Advanced Pastel and VIP experience essential
At least 8 years experience in financial accounting and management role
Travelling will be required from time to time
Timely and accurate financial reporting to Group Chief Financial Officer
Overseeing accounting procedures and systems
Overseeing the daily workflow of the finance department
Compiling and completing documentation required for annual audits and reviews of the Group companies
All tax calculations and submissions
Payments and preparing necessary documentation for sign off and approval of payments
Must be able to work under pressure
