My client in the FMCG sector is looking for a Group Financial Accountant to support the Group Finance Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial reporting, ensuring compliance, and enhancing financial performance through continuous improvement. Perform reporting of financial data against budgets and/or set targets. Assist the Group Financial manager with root cause analysis, action plan compilation and tracking and controlling of all non-conformances. To ensure that there is compliance to IFRS, statutory legislation and company policy and procedures. Collate and review all actual results with budget in system for accuracy. Compile month-end audit file including supporting documentation and ensure sign-off on the completeness and accuracy thereof. Perform self-assessment on functional audit and ensure it is signed off by the Group Financial Manager. To ensure that there is compliance to IFRS, statutory legislation and company policy and procedures. Ensure monthly capital expenditure schedules are reconciled to GL. Ensure VAT allocated correctly when purchasing any assets and clearing the group's monthly VAT account. BCom Financial Degree with completed articles. 3 or more years as a financial accountant in a manufacturing environment or similar. Driver's License. Own reliable transport. Computer skills to perform duties. Relevant negotiation and management skills.
