The Group Food Experience Manager is responsible for leading and managing a team of culinary professionals to deliver exceptional food experiences for guests in camp. This role involves creating strategic objectives, ensuring that the food experience is always up to date and relevant, showcasing local ingredients and culinary talents, and exceeding guests' expectations. The Group Food Experience Manager will act as a support to teams and individuals to help them reach their full potential within Wilderness while driving the company's processes, systems, and standards. Responsibilities: Create and implement an annual Food Strategy for the Group with the COO, including team structure, strategic goals and guest feedback enhancement. Develop and implement strategic objectives for the food experience in camp, ensuring that it aligns with Wilderness values and goals. Lead and manage a team of culinary professionals to deliver exceptional food experiences for guests. Ensure that the food experience features local ingredients and showcases culinary talents, always staying up to date and relevant. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of the food experience, including coordinating with the procurement team for sourcing ingredients. Provide support and guidance to team members, helping them reach their full potential and exceed guests' expectations. Drive company processes, systems, and standards to ensure high quality and consistency in the food experience. Monitor and evaluate the performance of the team and make necessary improvements to achieve excellence in the food experience. Manage external trainers ensuring strategic goals are being met. Monitor guest feedback and trends. Exceed guests' expectations by delivering high-quality and innovative food experiences Regional visits to evaluate standards and conduct training where necessary. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's degree in culinary arts, hospitality management, or related field 5 years of experience in a leadership role within the food and beverage industry Strong knowledge of culinary trends and techniques Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities Passion for delivering exceptional food experiences Experience in Wilderness or camp setting is a plus Ability to improve staff skills and to motivate them constantly.
