Reference: JHB001450-N-1Group Manager Supply Chain Management JOB DESCRIPTION Drive a focus on supply chain strategic planning through influencing and facilitating the development of future strategic directions of Airports Company South Africa. Translate company’s business and organisational goals into a comprehensive functional strategy. Ensure strategic alignment with the goals of those business areas serviced by SCM. Develop and lead an effective demand planning capability which supports forecasting, budgeting and integrated business planning. Manage and enhance the strategic partnership model to business and encourage business collaboration in demand planning and category management. Embed a category management approach to procurement with a focus on supplier market analysis, contracts management and supplier performance management per category. Drive the identification and realisation of cost reduction and cost saving opportunities through effective category management. Guide the implementation of supplier management strategies. Establish SCM policies, governance structures, frameworks and processes. Manage risk and drive compliance with SCM policies, procedures, standards, SLAs and relevant legislation. Guide the implementation of an effective procurement strategy and the establishment of a Procurement Centre of Excellence Drive tactical procurement and the purchasing process for strategic sourcing as per implemented contracts according to best practice Manage company’s risk exposure through identification, implementation and maintenance of risk control measures to minimise the Company’s liability JOB REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s Degree (4 years - 480 credits – NQF 8) in Commerce or Accounting is essential. Master’s degree: MBA / MBL / LLB or Commercial Law is advantageous. 10 to 12 years’ experience in procurement at Senior Management level is essential. Registration with Chartered Institute of Purchase and Supply (CIPS) OR SAPICS. MS Office proficiency at intermediate level Annually
