We are on the lookout for a dynamic Growth Specialist to revolutionize our customer acquisition strategies and propel us to new heights. As part of our mission to redefine the way South Africa transacts, you will be at the forefront of creating meaningful connections between consumers and merchants. In this role, you'll leverage your expertise in innovative growth strategies and your deep understanding of the digital landscape to drive sustainable growth. You'll be instrumental in executing campaigns that expand our reach, attract new users, and optimize the customer journey. If you're ready to empower connections and transform commerce with our Company, we want to hear from you We are a remote working organisation however, on occasion, employees might be required to get together at a chosen location 1.Market Research and Analysis: oIdentify target market segments and understand customer demographics. oAnalyse market trends and competitor strategies to refine acquisition tactics. oConduct regular surveys and focus groups to gather direct feedback from potential and current customers. oUtilize data analytics tools to monitor customer behaviour and preferences, providing insights for targeted marketing efforts. 2.Lead Generation: oDevelop and implement strategies to generate new leads through various in-person and online marketing channels. oUtilize SEO, SEM, and content marketing to optimize the company's website and content for search engines, increasing organic traffic and conversions. oAnalyse and leverage data analytics tools to track lead generation performance, identify trends, and adjust strategies to maximize lead quality and quantity. oEngage in industry events and networking opportunities to expand the company's reach and establish relationships with potential clients and partners. 3.Campaign Management: oDesign and execute marketing campaigns aimed at attracting new customers. oCoordinate with external agencies for advertising, social media, and influencer marketing. oPlan and implement joint merchant and partner incentive campaigns to drive growth and engagement. oDevelop and execute activation campaigns to turn prospects into active users. 4.Cross-Functional Collaboration: oWork closely with product, sales, and customer support teams to align growth initiatives with company goals. oProvide the sales team with the tools, resources, and training needed to convert leads into customers and ensure alignment with sales objectives. 5.Customer Onboarding: oStreamline the lead conversion process to ensure a smooth transition from prospect to active user for both consumers and merchants. oImplement user-friendly onboarding experiences tailored to reduce drop-offs and enhance initial engagement. oCollaborate with the marketing team to develop comprehensive onboarding tutorials and resources, helping consumers and merchants quickly understand and utilize Zapper's payment and rewards platform features. oUtilize data analytics to monitor the lead conversion process, identify pain points, and continuously optimize strategies to improve conversion rates and initial satisfaction. 6.Performance Tracking and Optimization: oSet clear acquisition objectives and define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success. oMonitor growth metrics and campaign performance using advanced analytics tools. oDesign and conduct A/B tests to improve the effectiveness of acquisition campaigns and user experiences. oImplement feedback loops for continuous learning and adaptation of acquisition strategies based on performance outcomes and market changes. 7.Brand Awareness and Positioning: oCollaborate with internal and external teams to develop targeted campaigns that enhance brand visibility and establish a strong market presence for Zapper. oUtilize public relations (PR) and media relations strategies to build a reputable brand image from an acquisition perspective, leveraging press releases, media interviews, and industry partnerships. oConduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for differentiation and position Zapper as a leading solution in the payment and rewards platform industry. oImplement innovative brand strategies, including influencer marketing and social media campaigns, to engage potential users and drive acquisition growth while maintaining brand integrity and relevance. 8.Reporting: oDevelop and maintain dashboards to track and visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for acquisition campaigns. oCollaborate with data analysts to ensure accurate and comprehensive data collection and reporting. oConduct post-campaign analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of strategies and provide recommendations for future improvements. oMonitor industry benchmarks and provide comparative analysis to highlight the company's performance against competitors. oPrepare and present regular reports on growth metrics, campaign performance, and actionable insights to senior management. Essential Criteria •Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Data Science or a related field. •Experience: 3 – 5 years of experience in growth marketing, digital marketing or a similar role. •Track record: Proven track record in developing and implementing successful marketing campaigns. •Remote Work: Ability to work remotely. •Fintech Experience: Experience in the fintech industry is beneficial. •Network and Connections: Bringing a robust network of industry connections, allowing for enhanced partnership opportunities and marketing reach. Skills and Personal Attributes •Data Analytics Proficiency: Google Analytics, Amazon Quicksight. •SEO/SEM Expertise: Google AdWords, SEO best practices. •Content Marketing: WordPress CMS, content calendars, writing and editing. •Campaign Management: Campaign Manager, multi-channel campaigns. •Technical Understanding: Mobile and web technologies, APIs, UX design. •Performance Tracking: KPIs, analytics software, dashboards. •Strategic Thinking: Long-term planning, market adaptation. •Collaboration and Teamwork: Interpersonal skills, communication. •Creativity and Innovation: Problem-solving, innovative tactics. •Communication Skills: Written and verbal, presentation. •Analytical Mindset: Data interpretation, attention to detail. •Adaptability: Flexibility, resilience. •Customer-Centric Approach: Empathy, feedback interpretation, customer journey enhancement. Salary Bracket R35,000 – R50,000 per month (dependant on candidate's level of experience). Employee benefits An annual increase (after completing a full 12 months with us). 17 days leave – accumulating at the normal South African rate.
