Head: Broadband Commercial FIXED-TERM CONTRACT (12 Months) Salary: We offer a competitive remuneration. SENTECH is looking for Head Broadband Commercial who will be responsible for implementing the organization's sales and new business development strategy for the Broadband Business in alignment to the approved business plan. The incumbent will be involved in identify potential revenue leakages and opportunities to improve profitability and revenue growth, respond to complex bids and partnership framework agreements and improving sales win rates, by understanding proposals end to end and providing cross-functional support to wider team through creative thought leadership. Key Responsibilities Formulate and execute strategic plan to advance the market segments strategic goals and objectives and to promote revenue, profitability, and growth. Plan, develop and implement strategies for generating resources and/or revenue for the company. Drive new business development - responsible for achieving revenue and profit targets by retaining existing customers, increasing the customer base and revenues through market penetration strategies, defining value propositions, planning marketing initiatives, and delivering new product offerings. Forecast and monitor sales performance by setting sales targets, determining sales initiatives' effectiveness, business development pipeline tracking and achieving or exceeding client satisfaction net promoter scores. Evaluates performance, risks in existing accounts and revises plans where appropriate. Assess financial performance, identify variances, and implement corrective actions as needed. Drives accelerated revenue growth and profitability by identifying potential markets for new and existing products and services in acquisition accounts. Provide the commercial and contractual input to the Bid/RFP response, including commercial responses and commercial conditions that would apply in the Bid Ensure cross divisional functions work collaboratively to drive the sales agenda and ensure alignment with overall customer strategy. Pre and post sales fulfilment in areas to ensure seamless introduction of new products, services and propositions. Respond to requests for proposal (RFP) and proactive (unsolicited). With the support of technology, actively participates in the development of high quality, strategic proposals which incorporate key solutions. Develop the B2B and B2C Go to Market strategy and tactical plans, branding & marketing strategy, channel management and roadmap for the Product Development Leverage CRM portals to maintain an active and accurate pipeline Assess the effectiveness of the lifecycle management of Connectivity products. Build and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships. Assess strategic partnerships to enhance value added service offerings. Analyze business tactics and reporting on performance analysis of the sales teams, competitor analysis, and market research. Identify, size, pitch for, and close new business opportunities by analyzing clients' market positioning, product profile and strategy. Provide clear direction and support to the team to achieve digital services objectives. Qualifications: An Honours Degree in Business Management, Marketing or a related field. A Master's Degree in Business or Marketing will be an added advantage. Experience: A proven track record of 8 years' target driven sales achievement in the public sector with a Telco/ICT company mandatory Understanding of the Networks and Enterprise solutions in the Fixed Wireless Access and Satellite technologies and selling a variety of technologies/services into different markets Experience in closing high value, complex deals working with a wide range of customers and the ability to close standard deals autonomously Outstanding interpersonal and networking skills including a solid existing network of contacts within the industry. Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the South African telecommunications landscape regarding regulations, market dynamics and digital trends. Knowledge and contacts within the Telecoms sector across Sub-Saharan Africa Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Proficiency with MS Office Suite and the ability to deliver impactful, targeted presentations. Demonstrated ability to support the full sales lifecycle. Great organizational skills, project management, and attention to detail.
