Head Chef - Cape Winelands
Candidate Requirements:
At least 2 to 3 years relevant experience as a Head Chef in a luxury environment
Culinary degree or equivalent qualification
Strong creativity and passion for culinary arts, with a focus on diverse cuisines and modern cooking techniques.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Knowledge of local and International food trends, sustainable practices, and dietary preferences.
Ability to work with fresh ingredients and create seasonal menu's with a farm to table approach
Ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
Good knowledge of planning, budgeting, and departmental administration.
Excellent attention to detail, excellent hygiene principles.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), practicing honest communication.
MUST be fluent in English AND Afrikaans
Team player with positive attitude, enthusiasm, and emotional control.
Excellent time management and self-discipline, interpersonal & problem-solving skills.
