Candidate Requirements:
- Must have extensive experience in a professional kitchen (essential)
- Experience in five star safari lodges in a must!
- Must have quality qualifications and an excellently presented food portfolio
- Must have fine dining experience and creativity
- Ability to function under pressure
- Must be a natural team leader who commands respect
- Must be able to work both independently and with others
- Proven advanced cooking techniques
- Knowledge of health and safety
- Excellent guest interaction skills are essential
- Must be fully computer literate
- Excellent knowledge of stocktake procedures, rostering and recruitment
- Brilliant communication skills in English (spoken and written)
- Must be in good physical and mental health
- Must have a passion for training
- Able to take control and create a positive team spirit
- Must be happy to undergo a pre-submission interview
