Join our client’s vibrant team as the Head of Financial Accounting and become a key architect of their financial triumph Purpose of this Role: As the Head of Financial Accounting, you'll be the driving force behind the Finance Unit's success—mastering operational efficiency and upholding a robust trial balance. Under the direct guidance of the Chief Financial Officer, your role spans from crafting operational controls to leading compliance with manuals, policies, and regulations. Key Accountabilities & Measures: Implement and refine operational controls for peak financial efficiency. Ensure unwavering compliance with manuals, policies, and regulatory standards. Command the monthly closure of accounts and punctual financial report preparation. Collaborate in shaping Annual Financial Statements adhering to IFRS. Navigate cash-flow projections for liquidity and timely supplier payments. Oversee audits, ensuring tax compliance and keeping our CFO in the loop on changes. Qualifications & Experience: Hold a Tertiary Qualification in Accounting/Auditing/Finance. Boast a minimum of 5 years post-article experience in a supervisory or management role. Preferably, bring your expertise from the financial and/or insurance industry. Proficiency in advanced EXCEL, AX Microsoft Dynamics, or similar accounting systems.
