Responsibilities: Guiding Department Management: Manage, oversee, and discipline staff in the guiding department Conduct staff training and development Assist the marketing manager in obtaining content for social media Handle all administrative duties related to the guiding department Manage and oversee the portfolio’s fleet Allocate rangers and trackers to daily game drives Conduct daily game drives and bush walks Host guests during activities Coordinate airport transfers Organize the Little Paws program Provide assistance around the lodge in other departments if needed Conduct photographic safaris Report to Group Operations Manager(s) and Head Office Lodge Management: Ensure meticulous management of the lodge Manage and oversee staff in conjunction with the General Manager Conduct staff training and development Assist the marketing manager in obtaining content for social media Host guests during their stay Coordinate airport transfers Organize the Little Paws program Provide assistance around the lodge in other departments if needed Maintain financial responsibilities including stock control, stock takes, budget control, and allocation of expenditures Maintain the required aesthetic standards of the lodge Assist with event planning and execution Assist with menu planning and cost control Package: R32,000 Monthly Combined Salary - Negotiable salary depending on experience and references Accommodation provided Meals while on duty 21 days on, 7 days off work cycle 15 days annual leave Provident Fund
