Reference: NFP014581-CAM-1 Head-ING for a new challenge Location: Sandton (In Office) Position: Head of Money Markets Are you a seasoned financial professional with a decade of experience in international market trading and a deep understanding of liquidity management? We are looking for an exceptional Head of Money Markets to join our prestigious banking institution. This role is pivotal in maintaining our regulatory metrics, managing liquidity, and ensuring the smooth settlement of treasury transactions. Key Responsibilities: Liquidity Management: Oversee and manage the bank's liquidity position, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and optimizing cash flow. Regulatory Metrics: Maintain and monitor the bank's regulatory metrics, ensuring adherence to all relevant financial regulations and guidelines. International Market Trading: Lead and execute trading activities in international money markets, leveraging your extensive experience and market knowledge. Treasury Transactions: Ensure accurate and timely settlement of all treasury transactions, maintaining operational excellence and efficiency. Balance Sheet Management: Manage and optimize the bank's balance sheet, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and regulatory standards. Excel Proficiency: Utilize advanced Excel skills for data analysis, reporting, and decision support. Requirements: Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) or equivalent qualification. CFA preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in trading within international markets. Proven expertise in liquidity management and regulatory compliance. Strong proficiency in Excel and financial analysis tools. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
