Robert Walters Africa Key Responsibilities:Conduct market analysis and feasibility studies to identify optimal locations for new store openings in SA.Negotiate rental terms and secure commercially viable contracts, preparing legal documentation as required.Forge partnerships with malls and landowners to secure prime locations for on-site advertisement and promotion.Facilitate the acquisition of necessary documentation and permits from landowners to obtain store licenses.Oversee fit-out processes for new outlets, managing contractors and ensuring timely readiness for opening and achievement of sales targets.Serve as the primary liaison with external stakeholders throughout site development projects.Key Requirements:3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within an MNC or leading local retailer.Proven track record of identifying prime sites and establishing fruitful relationships with landlords, agents, and leasing managers/directors.Familiarity with navigating governmental regulations and competing within the retail landscape.Proficient in analysing key metrics such as rent-to-sales ratio and rental rates per square foot vis-à-vis competitors.Embark on a rewarding journey to revolutionise the retail landscape.
