In this crucial role, you will shape and execute the strategic vision for their SME Lending division. As the HBU, you will manage diverse credit product portfolios, mentor a talented team, and ensure alignment with broader organizational objectives. The ideal candidate will have a blend of strategic vision, leadership skills, and financial acumen, with a proven track record in a senior role within the financial sector, specifically in managing and growing credit product portfolios. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or other business-related fields 4 years of proven experience in a senior role is advantageous Industry experience (banking, retail, or merchant) is highly advantageous Proven experience in managing a business or division within an organization System development experience is advantageous Proven marketing, sales, and operational experience Financial acumen and strong analytical skills Entrepreneurial spirit/drive Ability to engage with senior stakeholders Proficiency with financial reports and statements Duties and Responsibilities: Actively participate in defining strategic objectives, business planning, and financial planning Lead and build the team to its full potential, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives Manage and oversee three large credit product portfolios Develop and drive the sales of credit products in each market segment Prepare financial spreadsheets and models to support new and existing credit products Ensure efficient management of workflows and data integrity Maintain responsibility for the division's P&L Manage risk and control effectively, embedding a positive risk culture Deliver consistent and timely credit risk decisions Promote continuous improvement and necessary changes within the division Lead and drive the performance of direct reports, managing talent and under-performance proactively Facilitate communication and feedback between the team and stakeholders Initiate and embed change initiatives to support strategic objectives, improve processes, reduce costs, and develop products Ensure delivery of organizational costings within agreed budgets and timeframes Develop and maintain strong internal networks at a senior level Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Development teams to drive and coordinate product initiatives.
