Robert Walters Africa What you'll do: Develop a clear Quality, Patient Safety and Nursing Care strategy for the Group Ensure that the quality and clinical governance frameworks are well in place and efficient Establish policies that promote patient safety and improve the quality of care Monitor closely and report on Quality and Patient Safety's KPIs to the Board Ensure that the Group risk governance is properly implemented Identify and develop nursing talents within the Group Lead the nursing departmental productivity and effectiveness measures Ensure that the nursing standards, quality assurance and risk management processes are fully embedded within the organisation What you bring: A bachelor's or master's degree in clinical or related field would be advantageous Strong health care background, ideally within a private health care setting A minimum of 10 years of working experience in a similar position At least 3 years operating at an Executive Committee (EXCO) level or as part of a Leadership Team Proficiency in stakeholder relationship management Strong negotiation skills Good understanding of nursing practices and legal frameworks Sound financial knowledge with ability to implement financial and business management principles Excellent collaboration and communication skills What sets this company apart: Our client is a leading international health care group with a diverse portfolio that includes private hospitals, primary care clinics, retail pharmacies, medical laboratories and lab collection centres.
