Reference: JHB007244-ES-1Head of Debtors position available at a manufacturing company located in Isando. Successful incumbent will report directly to the CFO. Position would suit a candidate who is immediately available. REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATION and WORK EXPERIENCE:- A relevant financial degree / diploma / credit qualification - Minimum 5 years head of debtors and strong management experience- Minimum of 5 years experience in debtors finance and CGIC.- Sound knowledge of sound Financial practices and legal requirements- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar position within the steel / roofing and FMCG industry is ideal. This includes purchasing (local & imports), inventory management, supply chain management, exports and knowledge of Excel (advanced level)- Advanced understanding of SysproKEY PERFORMANCE AREAS- To oversee and ensure good governance through compliance to regulations and internal policies. - To enhance productivity through coordinating daily activities and building a competent workforce. - To provide input into developing strategic plans and goals for the Debtors department and implement strategic objectives. - To ensure attainment of objectives through effective monitoring. - To build an effective staff complement through the recruitment, development and performance management of employees. - To ensure effective financial control through assisting in budgeting and monitoring. - To promote and represent the company in different stakeholder engagements, build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and act as a trusted advisor. - To report on progress and activities of the department through effective report-writing. - To support/enhance/grow revenue through identifying opportunities and/or providing supporting services. - To take accountability for deliverables. - To support the company as the subject matter expert in Debtors & Customer Management R 600000 - R 650000 - Annually plus Medical Aid and Pension Fund
