ARE YOU A CA(SA) WITH INTERESTS IN PROPERTY DEVELOPMENT??? Our client is seeking a highly commercial and astute Property Professional to act as Head: Development and Infrastructure. Reporting to: Chief Executive Officer Key Responsibilities: Greenfields Feasibilities and Execution: Design conceptualisation Development of architectural plan / design and Site Development Plan Management of town planning process Feasibilities and costings Appointment and management of Development Manager, Professional teams and contractors Tender and Contract Negotiations Project delivery, within approved budgets and timeframes Operational Handover of projects to completion Refurbishment / Capital Projects Design conceptualisation Development of architectural plan / design and Site Development Plan Management of town planning process Feasibilities and costings Appointment and management of Professional teams and contractors Project delivery, within approved budgets and timeframes Operational Handover of projects to completion Ongoing Unit Renovations Design conceptualisation Development of architectural plan / design Costings Appointment and management of in-house and external Professional teams and contractors Project delivery, within approved budgets and timeframes Operational Handover of projects to completion Infrastructure Management of services infrastructure and municipal services across communities Replacement and refurbishment capital projects Management and Implementation of Planned maintenance schedules and program Qualification and Experience: Professional designation – Commercial (CA or similar, with extensive property experience) or Property Professional (QS / BSc (Property) etc( Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in similar role Strong Commercial acumen and operational skills Must be entrepreneurial in approach and outlook Excellent financial and analytical skills, property experience as highlighted above Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, software (preferably MDA) & Legislation Strong Excel and financial modelling skills Excellent people skills, friendly and inquisitive disposition – ability to motivate and lead teams. Demonstrated ability to prepare meaningful financial insights and reports, including due diligence, with commentary and analysis that add value Familiar with working in operating environment and commercial experience Ability to work independently and identify areas of risk and improvement.
