Head of M&A - Johannesburg

Founded in 2008, the firm is regarded today as one of the leading consulting teams, focusing primarily on strategy and growth, research and analytics, and M and A advisory. The individual will be required to assist with growing the transaction support services whilst fostering and growing the junior M and A team. This role will allow you exposure to a broad range of projects as well as industries for both blue chip trade clients and private equity houses. As Head of M and A, you will assist in driving and managing the M and A strategy of shifting to a greater focus on full transaction support and transaction advisory (deal advisory, deal origination, and capital raising).

Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Chartered Accountant with 8+ years post-qualifying experience in transaction advisory, corporate finance or private equity OR
- Related financial qualification with CFA / FMVA qualification and 10+ years experience in transaction advisory, corporate finance or private equity
- 5+ years' experience in a senior leadership position
- Experience in valuations, financial modelling as well as commercial and financial due diligence
- Exceptional report writing and presentation skills
