Head of Marketing - Johannesburg

Bachelors degree, or higher, in financial/business/commerce or Marketing Services or related fields; plus
any other formal business or marketing qualification and/or certificates will be helpful
Financial Business Unit Management/Distribution Channel Management or Marketing and Brand Management accountability at a Mid-Snr Management level and or Client Experience Accountability
Financial Services experience essential
BU Management/Distribution/Digital/Communications/Event Experience/Classic Marketing and Branding are all advantages.
8 - 10 yrs marketing experience is essential

Head of Marketing Responsibilities
The overarching objective of the role is the implementation of the Marketing, Activation & Brand Strategy aligned to Client Experience and the broader business goals.
Marketing execution is largely by way of specialist service providers and the management of service provider delivery is a critical requirement.
This includes the management of the various creative agencies, digital providers, events agencies executing across the Company, and two internal resources as well as the implementation of various initiatives.
Project management skills and the professional management of strategic provider execution is a distinct advantage for this role.
We regard this role as far more of a Business Development role than a Creative Design and Alignment Role.
Stakeholder Management at the EXCO level and Regional Execution level are critical enablers of the role.
Growth is the key word if your skills enable business growth.

Client Experience is the Critical Objective of all marketing and activation activity.
Constant in Market Activity and persistent activation is the unique requirement.
Brand Management: Creating a unique Brand footprint in relation to other advisory / wealth management companies.
Digital Marketing and social media are critical enablement channels requiring their own execution strategy.
Building a more robust understanding of the B2C Environment and supporting brand ambassadors with marketing initiatives to support this within their unique geographical communities.
Prioritize Intermediary Brand Positioning with elasticity and evolution toward a HNW Consumer Brand.
Within the B2B (Intermediary Brand Positioning) fold there are 3 aspects to support:
Our primary growth stems from attracting the right advisory practices to join forces with the company and partner for growth.
We are the marketing and activation enablement team for financial planning practices that have already partnered with the company
