Hire Resolve's Mining Client is currently seeking a talented and experienced individual for the role of Head of Mining Operations. As the Head of Mining Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all mining-related activities within the company. Responsibilities: Lead the Mining operations to ensure safe, and cost effective mining of ore reserves, according to an agreed plan and the development of new ore reserves to maintain a profitable production rate in order to ensure the sustainability of the production. Manage Quality Management System for the Underground Operations. Develop and implement mining strategies and plans to achieve production targets. Oversee all mining operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards. Manage and optimize resource allocation to ensure efficient and cost-effective mining operations. Ensure the implementation of best practices and continuous improvement initiatives within the mining department. Collaborate with other departments to achieve overall business objectives. Manage and mentor a team of mining professionals, providing guidance and support for their career development. Monitor and report on key performance indicators to track mining performance and identify areas for improvement. Requirements Bachelor's degree or Advanced Diploma in Mining Engineering or related field. Have a Mine Managers Certificate of Competency Have experience in QMS Minimum of 10 years of experience in mining operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role. Strong knowledge of mining regulations, safety standards, and environmental practices. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement mining strategies. Proven track record of achieving production targets and optimizing mining operations. Excellent leadership and management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
