Head of Sales - Gauteng

Purpose of the Role: Lead sales efforts and assume accountability for the performance (revenue and margins) and effectiveness of identified target markets;Provide strategic leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability, growth, and risk mitigation in line with the organisations sales strategic objectives; Duties and Responsibilities: Sales: Identify and develop new business opportunities and drive opportunities from commencement of execution;Aling the organisations value proposition to markets and segments with strategic opportunities;Develop realistic and achievable sales plans per geographical area and function area;Monitor and evaluate the organisations products and prices in relation to market requirements;Continually develop knowledge of the business climate by monitoring and evaluating competitors products, services and prices;Conduct quarterly comparative market analysis;Implement practices, processes and systems to meet monthly / quarterly sales targets;Formulate all sales policies, practices and procedures;Attend identified strategic opportunities (conferences, seminars and similar) to promote the organisations brand;Upsell at existing clients, develop effective reseller relationships, and increase the organisations footprint via direct selling or partnerships;Perform sales activities and engage in relevant negotiations; Financial Reporting: Accurately forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly revenue streams for pipeline;Track against the forecast, analyse sales data on sales results and develop plans to address performance gaps; Stakeholder Liaison: Maintain relationships with all relevant stakeholders such as customers, strategic partners and suppliers;Ensure proactive follow-up with all stakeholders including prospective clients;Maintain and advocate a high level of customer service; Inherent Role Requirements and Experience: Bachelors Degree in Technology / Engineering / Business Administration;Proven software and / or professional services sales experience;10 years software business development experience, preferably in the SA Public Sector market;Ability and success in sales strategies;Good technical foundation in understanding technology and communicating the product value proposition; Advantageous Experience and Qualifications: Familiarity with public procurement legislation (national, provincial, local government), processes and artefacts;Experience in the Asset Management field; Required Skills: MS Office 365;Excellent report writing in English;Presentation preparation and delivery skills. https://protool.gumtree.co.za/external-link-browser.html?urlaHR0cHM6Ly9lbi16YS53aGF0am9icy5jb20vY29vcG9iX19jcGxfX18xMTA4XzQwMjIzX180OTc/dXRtX3NvdXJjZT1ndW10cmVlJnV0bV9tZWRpdW09ZmVlZCZrZXl3b3JkPQ&jid948847&xid1108_40223 Apply Now
