Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Actuary to join our team as the Short-Term Actuarial Executive. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the short-term capital and reserving functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing strategic insights to drive business decisions. Key Responsibilities: Drive the implementation strategies to support the achievement of sales targets and client-centricity. Strategic input and branding. Develop and maintain models for short-term capital and reserving requirements. Monitor and analyse trends in claims, reserves, and capital adequacy. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement risk management strategies. Provide expert advice on actuarial matters to senior management and stakeholders. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices. Requirements: Fellow of the Society of Actuaries or equivalent qualification. Minimum of 8 years of experience in actuarial roles, with a focus on short-term capital and reserving. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in actuarial software and Microsoft Excel.
