Ingrain is looking for a dynamic Head of Technology Group to manage Ingrain's overall technology management and development. This include sustainable use of technology through best practices in asset care and operational benchmarking. To develop and execute technical strategies which will give Ingrain a competitive advantage through biotechnology, maintenance alliance, new products and new technology. To coordinate and direct Technology Group as central engineering resource in line with the technical strategies. This role supports the strategy by : · Coordinating business and feasibility studies that strengthens Ingrain's competitive advantage. · Ensuring effective development and implementation of strategic projects. · Coordinating the development and implementation of standard in acquisition, maintenance and operation of plant assets. Thus ensuring effective use of mill and research based capital. · Coordinating and directing Technology Group as central engineering resource to provide operational support to all mills ensuring optimised plants and processes. · Managing for effective technical support and transfer of knowledge to the other functions. · Providing technical expertise to Ingrain and external customers. · Coordinating mill based engineering expertise by implementing best practices and maintenance standards. Qualifications BSc Chem Eng, H ND, B Tech or equivalent Knowledge Basic Chemical Engineering concepts (mass and energy balances, fluid flow, pumping systems etc.) Expert knowledge of Wet milling and associated processes. Project Engineering / Management. Equipment design and selection. HAZOP and HACCP procedures. ISO9000/14000/18000/22000 Environmental impact assessments. High level of computer literacy. Financial Management and cost control Customer processes Experience Minimum 10 years Wetmill Production Management/Process/Project Engineering. Minimum 10 years in senior management, managing large teams SHEQ Experience
